  Use the New Entrycommand to enter a flight into yourlogbook.

The new logbookentry is linked to the currently opened flight file. Data entry keying is minimisedbecause the logbook is primedwith flight analysis and task definition data. You can key in further entrieswhich are not linked to flight files.

The next pictureshows how all the entries can beviewed by using the logbook browser.

     
  The browserformat is based on that of the standard hardcopy logbook. Running totals(of duration andcross-country distance),are presentedas youscroll down the logbook. You can opena flight file directly from the logbookby double-clickingon its entry.
     
 

Summary statistics,through a selected entry, are displayedwhen you press the Summary button. These are the numbers neededfor a page summary in yourhardcopy logbook.

  Use the Statisticscommand to select from the available reports. There is a range of summary anddetailed reports including one whichpresents instructing hours. There is also the facility tofilter reports to individual gliders or gliding sites. This picture illustratesselection of the monthly summaryreport.

Themonthly summary report can be used,with a filter to an individual glider,to generate and print the annual statisticsthat go into the logbook for that glider.
